01. How do I make a reservation?
Quark’s Qantina is a private event. The only way for QuarksBarb, our manager, to insure that no damage is done to the premises is to limit the number of patrons allowed in at any one time and to require that all guests are known to her personally or come recommended by persons of note.

02. Okay…How do I get to know QuarksBarb?
If you would like to attend you will need to join one of the forums she is a member of, Alec Peter’s Invisionzone or Klingon Assault Group or USS Blackhawk and become an active member.

03. Where are you located?
We are located on the Healy Space Station in the Sol System of Sector 001 in the Alpha Quadrant. Those guests arriving by starship should book passage to Chicago’s O’Hare Docking Port. For those piloting a shuttle, you may use our landing pad. We are centrally located and accessible from all quadrants.

04. What is your dress code?
Ferengi Rules of Fancy Dress are enforced – in other words, costumes are required for admittance, but you may come as any being from any quadrant, galaxy, saga, or fantasy including one of your own making. Human Starfleet personnel are welcome as long as they are in uniform. Androids are also allowed to attend.

05. What are your facilities like?
We have several rooms devoted to food and drink: the Ten Forward Lounge, the Klingon b’Harr (this room is temperature controlled to be more comfortable for the heavily-costumed Klingon attendees), and the Dining Room. We have a Gaming Room in which there is a functioning Dabo Table, and a Tongo Wheel. There are also various two-person games. We give prizes to the guests who win the costume awards and to those with the most latinum at the end of the evening.

06. Wow! Where did you get all those cool plates, bottles and glasses?
We have created a website that provides a Behind-The-Scenes look at the Qantina’s operations: Press here for Behind The Scene At Quark’s Qantina (a new window will open).

07. How long have you been in business?
Quark’s Qantina opened for the first time on Star Date 62524.9 (February 7, 2009). Our event takes place once a year, in early spring. We have just completed our fourth event and are looking forward to our fifth year of operation!

08. OK...I came, I saw, I ate, I won a prize ...I would like to give you something in return.

…PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANYTHING!...

We are EXTREMELY BUSY the night of the event and we are not set up to handle gifts of any kind.
If you want to "contribute" something, put more effort into your costume.
